Sankalp Shrie is Senior Manager - Computing Products Research Practice at IDC India. Based in Gurgaon, near Delhi, Sankalp is responsible for driving all market analysis and research assignments for the India domestic computing products market and indetifying new research and consulting opportunities around the products falling under his group. Sankalp personally handles the External Disk Storage Market tracker for IDC in India.
Prior to joining IDC, Sankalp has worked as Industry Analyst with Frost & Sullivan's Industrial Technologies Practice division's Energy & Power Supply (EPS) vertical based out of Bangalore and as a Senior Client Service Executive with ACNielsen ORG-MARG'S Industrial Market Research division, based out of New Delhi. Sankalp began his career with the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), Mumbai.
In a career spanning over seven years in market research and consulting, Sankalp brings to IDC India a fair understanding of the intricate business and market dynamics across a wide gamut of sectors like General Engineering, Power, Pharmaceuticals, Fertilizers & Chemicals, Textiles, Automotive with studies ranging from market entry to feasibility analyses across both private and Government clients.
Sankalp is an Electronics Engineer from Nagpur University and also holds a Master's Degree in Management Studies (MMS) from Mumbai University with specialization in Marketing.
