Vishaal works as General Manager, Verticals Research and
GTM Services. In this dual role he is responsible for
identifying, conceptualizing and supervising – a)
research and consulting assignments in major industry
verticals like BFSI, Manufacturing, Energy & Power,
Telecommunications and the Government sector; b)
Go-To-Market services such as IDC conferences and road
shows, IDC India White papers, IDC India Analyst
Viewpoints etc.
Prior to his current stint with IDC India, Vishaal
has worked with a diverse set of companies in the IT
media and IT industries such as
www.CIOL.com (Senior
Business Manager – Relationship Programs), Cyber Media
Publications (Product Manager – PC Quest magazine),
Datapro (Territory Manager – Corporate IT Training) and
HCL (Sales Executive – Telecom Products).
This diversified experience has helped Vishaal build
up a wide-ranging perspective on different facets of
marketing and consumption of IT products and services in
India.
Vishaal holds an MBA (Marketing) from Bundelkhand
University, a B++ accredited university located in the
northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. |
