Strategies for Success in the North American BPO Market

North America has traditionally been the biggest market opportunity for Indian IT and IT enabled service providers. With more and more businesses joining the bandwagon as users of offshore outsourcing and the existing ones moving up the maturity curve, the suppliers surely need to re-examine & re-align their strategies to ensure success. Jason, in his presentation, will examine current and future trends in the BPO market for North America, and help interested parties in the Indian market to determine how their strategies should change to capture this market opportunity.

In addition Jason will also discuss the opportunities for offshore outsourcing in Canada, which is positioned both as a supplier and user base. This makes Canada uniquely placed in the context of the outsourcing market at a global level.

Cracking the diverse European Markets

The European IT and Business Services Marketplace is as diverse as it is large. Given the diversity of legislative, linguistic and cultural factors, it is a market that requires significant attention. Marianne in her presentation will focus on some of the opportunities that exist in the European marketplace and how can they be tapped by Indian service providers. She will also address concerns and threats for Indian providers coming from the emergence of providers in Eastern Europe and other markets.
Asia - Threat or Opportunity

Whilst the Asian marketplace currently is the global region with the most immature adoption of offshore outsourcing services, clearly it is going to experience phenonomal growth in coming years both as a demand location for services and as a supply of services.
Mr. Hassey will focus on the Japanese, and Chinese markets, examine the connected nature of the two markets as well as the opportunity or competitive threat, depending upon ones perspective of China as a delivery center, China has a number of advantages and disadvantages when compared with India and focus will be made upon these attributes.
Creating a Dynamic Environment: Enterprise Adoption of Utility Computing

Customers are under increasing pressure to gain access to a set of flexible and dynamic application and business processes that can meet real-time changes in the business environment while minimizing costs. To support these requirements, customers are looking toward leveraging emerging technologies, such as SOA and Web Services, as well as service delivery models, such as utility computing, which are integrating these technologies as part of provisioning this type of service. This presentation will highlight how customers are adopting these new technologies; how they are leveraging utility computing services; and what are expected future customer adoption patterns for this emerging service model. This presentation will also highlight the strategies that services companies and outsourcers are utilizing to meet customer need in accessing a utility computing service in today's market as well as the opportunities and challenges that offshore players face in what IDC believes will be a disruptive market.
