Mr. Jason Bremner, Director Canadian Outsourcing
Services, IDC
Jason Bremner is the Director, Outsourcing Services for IDC Canada Ltd. Mr. Bremner helps clients understand the changing Canadian outsourcing industry enabling them to compete more effectively. In addition to tracking large vendors like IBM Global Services, EDS and CGI, Mr. Bremner also follows specific outsourcing areas including business process outsourcing, application outsourcing and IT utility services.
Prior to joining IDC Canada, Mr. Bremner held various sales and marketing roles at Hewlett-Packard (Canada) Ltd. and Netron Inc. Mr. Bremner holds a MBA in Science and Technology from Queen’s University, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, and a Diploma of Computer Systems Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

Ms. Marriane Kolding, Research Director, European
Services Research Group, IDC
Marianne Kolding is a director in IDC's European Services Research group, based in London. She leads the practices responsible for IDC's European research on application solution services, competitive insights, and infrastructure services. Her research responsibilities cover a wide variety of topics, but current hot research areas are focused on strategic changes in the services market, services ecosystems and offshore outsourcing. Kolding is part of IDC's Global Offshore Outsourcing group. She is often engaged in custom projects on a variety of subjects and frequently takes on speaking engagements, both for IDC conferences and seminars and on behalf of clients. Kolding is often quoted in the press and are on occasion provides comments for radio and TV.
Kolding has been in the IT research industry for eleven years. Prior to this, she held various positions with IBM. She holds a master's degree in international marketing and international trade from Aarhus Business School in Denmark. Her background and experience ensure a broad understanding of issues affecting the IT services marketplace, its players, and its customers.

Mr. Phil Hassey, Associate Director, Asia/Pacific
Services, IDC
As Associate Director, Asia/Pacific Services, Philip
Hassey, is responsible for leading IDC’s research in
the Services marketplace across the region. Based in
Sydney, he provides highly valued advice and insight
into industry trends, opportunities and competitive
environments.
Mr. Hassey’s leads a large team of analysts who
cover the broad range of IT related services, from
Support, to consulting and integration and the rapidly
growing outsourcing market. In addition, he has a
particular research focus on Offshore service delivery,
Utility/On Demand services and BPO.
Prior to being appointed to this role, Mr. Hassey
spent three years as the lead analyst for IDC's
Asia/Pacific outsourcing research, providing clients
with significant insight across the full spectrum of
outsourcing related services.
Mr. Hassey is a regular contributor in leading IT and
business related publications and broadcast media in
Asia/Pacific, including the Sydney Morning Herald, South
China Morning Post, CNBC and CIO. He regularly provides
his insights and expertise at a wide variety of
workshops, presentations and conferences across the
Asia/Pacific region for the end-user and vendor
community alike.
Prior to IDC, Mr. Hassey had a significant amount of
experience in corporate strategy, marketing and research
at Accenture, where he led their Worldwide Government
Market Intelligence team and Lend Lease where he was
ultimately responsible for their global research in
shopping center development.
Mr. Hassey graduated from the University of New South
Wales with an Honors Degree in Applied Science with a
major in Applied Economic Geography. He is currently
completing an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of
Management

Mr. David Tapper, Director, IT Outsourcing and
Utility Services and Global Offshore Services, IDC
Mr. Tapper manages IDC’s IT Outsourcing and Utility
Services (ITOUS) research program. In this position, he
provides market analysis, commentary, and client support
on companies that provide IT outsourcing services to
customers. His coverage areas include traditional
datacenter outsourcing; network and desktop management
and outsourcing; and various flavors of “managed”
services including, what is commonly referred to as,
"managed" Web hosting. In addition, ITOUS
follows the current shift in the market toward the
delivery of utility computing or “on-demand”
services.
In addition to following the IT outsourcing and utility
services market, Mr. Tapper manages IDC's Global
Offshore Services (GOS) program. As part of this
research, he provides market analysis and commentary on
issues and trends involving the move of IT and business
services to offshore locations at a global level as well
as how both established global players and offshore
competitors are leveraging offshore strategies.
Prior to joining IDC, Mr. Tapper served as a Product
Manager and Database Manager at Yankee Publishing, Inc.
Mr. Tapper earned a Master of Business Administration
from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts from
University of Rochester.

Mr. Pradeep Gupta, MD, IDC (India) Limited
Pradeep is an Engineer from IIT Delhi (1975) and an
MBA from IIM Calcutta (1977).
He is the CMD of Cyber Media India Ltd., India's
leading niche media company which publishes 9
publications in India including Dataquest, PCQuest,
Voice & Data Living Digital and BioSpectrum with a
combined reader base of 1.4 million. CyberMedia is an
integrated media company with presence in Market
Research, Multimedia, Events, Online Portals, Education,
TV and Media BPO services.
Pradeep is also the founder Director of SQL Star
International and General Partner of Infinity Ventures.
He is also the past Chairman of e-Gurucool. He is on the
Board of Kaleidoscope Entertainment and is a Charter
Member of TiE, Delhi.
He is the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni award
of IIT Delhi.
