Ramamurthy Sivakumar

Ramamurthy Sivakumar is the Country Manager, South Asia. Intel Technology India Pvt. Ltd. 

He is in charge of all sales and marketing operations for Intel products and technologies for all the South Asian countries (India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan and Bangladesh). As Managing Director, Siva is also responsible for leading Intel towards becoming a platform – oriented organization as well as driving Intel’s ‘World Ahead’ initiative which focuses on PC penetration for the next billion citizens in emerging markets.

Prior to this, Siva was Worldwide Director, Business Development for the Mobility Group at Intel. Siva and his team were responsible for developing the industry ecosystem and creating alliances around Intel’s Mobility products.  The Mobility Group included Intel’s laptop, cellular handset, WiFi and WiMAX businesses.

Four years earlier, Siva was Assistant Treasurer and Director of Mergers and Acquisitions at Intel, responsible for driving acquisition strategy and transactions across Intel Corporation as part of Intel Capital. Prior to this, Siva spearheaded all Intel strategic programs in India and drove the expansion of the company’s India operations, serving as Director.  Siva started his career as a software engineer at Intel in 1988 and later served as a technologist and engineering manager in the Intel Architecture Labs at Oregon, USA.

Siva has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) at ­­­­­­­­­­Kharagpur and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from New Mexico Tech, at New Mexico in the USA. He also holds a US Patent in network based audio/video processing using multicasting.

 
 

Ramana Vithala
Ramana has been working for Intel for the last 10 years in various roles managing enterprise IT operations across India and Asia Pacific. He also managed IT construction programs and executed several projects in Asia region building general purpose building and data centers. Before Joining Intel, he worked in several companies in the US from 1988-1996 in IT engineering, Operations and support areas. He has a total of 18 years of IT Industry experience covering Healthcare, electronics and semiconductor industries.
 
 

Souma S. Das

Souma S. Das is the Area Vice President, Citrix India Sub Continent, responsible for the full Operations, including the development of Citrix’s strategy for the area, sales, marketing and pre/post sales functions.

Souma was previously the Managing Director at Citrix Systems India and before that was the Country Manager, Lotus Development International Corporation, India. 

Souma is a Post Graduate in Computer Science, and has over fifteen years of experience in the Information Technology industry. He has worked with both Multinationals as well as Indian Corporate and is a firm believer in the values of reliability and consistency in business relationships.

Souma lives in Bangalore with his wife and daughter. He enjoys astronomy, cricket and traveling.

 
 

Arun Rao

Business Manager, Client Virtualization, PSG, HP India

Arun Rao is the Business Manager, Client Virtualization, Personal Systems Group, Hewlett-Packard India. He has worked in HP and Pre-Merger Compaq for six and half years.
Previous to this he was based with HP Compaq where he held the Product Management position for Commercial Desktop Category. He has also held charge as the Product Manager for the Commercial Notebooks category for hp.
Prior to his association with HP, Arun has worked with HCL, where he was associated with sales and marketing in the Mumbai market for a span of three years.
Arun is a Civil Engineer from the Regional Engineering College, Durgapur and a MBA from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.

   
   

Panini Dwivedi
Panini Dwivedi is the Business Manager Websphere Brand, IBM Software group in India.

He has responsibility for bringing to market IBM’s WebSphere software in the India market.  These products represent the integration capabilities of IBM’s software products that allow customers to implement Service Oriented Archietecture initiatives, and features WebSphere Process Server, the WebSphere Application Server, as well as WebSphere MQ, and other integration and B2B software.

Previously, Panini has managed the IBM's ISV & Developer Relations coverage team and over the 6 years plus experience in IBM has been in various roles ranging from IT Architecting to Channel sales.

Panini has a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Madras and MBA from IIM Lucknow.  He currently resides in Chennai.
 
 

Vijay Sagar
Vijay Sagar is a Product Manager with the Data Center Technology Group currently working on next generation data center technologies for LAN, SAN and Layer 4-7 products.  Prior to joining Data Center Technology Group, Vijay was a product manager on the Catalyst 6500 series switch and responsible for the launch of the Supervisor720 and the Wireless LAN services Module. Prior to joining Cisco, Vijay saw a business consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.  Vijay Sagar also holds a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University.
 
   

Amod Ranade

Amod Ranade is Product Manager - InfrastruXure for American Power Conversion (APCC) based in Bangalore. His current role entails managing InfraStruXure Solution offerings, working with Data Center Issues in the area of Power, Cooling, Management & Security and Services and driving innovation around these issues to solve real customer problems.
.
At his earlier role in sales at APC, Amod Ranade has been involved in various facets of Channel Management and Customer Interaction. During his sales stint, Amod developed a passion for understanding and resolving issues faced by the customers in Enterprise installations. His passion towards resolving real customer issues led to his success in that role and his shift from sales to product development.

Prior to APC, Amod had a strong background in channel management and sales for various IT products like Servers, Storage, etc.

Amod is an Engineering graduate and a MBA from University of Pune.

   
   

Dr. Winfried van Holland

Winfried van Holland is Director of Marketing and Product Management at Cordys.  With over ten years' experience in software architecture, product development and product marketing, Winfried leads the team responsible for defining and implementing Cordys' go-to-market strategy. 

With a PhD in Assembly Modeling and Planning from the world renowned Delft University of Technology, Winfried combines a solid technical background with extensive business management experience, to better understand the inter-relationship between business innovation and IT requirements.

 
 

Dr. Patrick Chan

Patrick Chan, Ph.D., is currently with IDC as the Research Director, focusing on emerging technologies like Service-Oriented-Architecture, Business Activity Monitoring, Composite Applications, Enterprise Application Integration, Grid Computing, Enterprise Infrastructure, and other emerging areas.

Dr. Patrick Chan previously works with standard organizations OASIS as the Asia-Pacific Representative to support and expand the Consortium's activities across Asia/Pacific through focused educational and business development activities. He has over 15 years of academics and industry consulting experience, serving in roles as diverse as technical director, global architect, e-government specialist, business development and alliances director, and research scientist.

In his technical leadership, Dr. Patrick Chan has overseen the deployment of many EAI and enterprise integration projects of which many are highly successful. He has worked for webMethods, TIBCO, Mentortech and Institute of System Science. His doctoral research involved decision fusion techniques, machine learning and artificial neural networks algorithms, and intelligent character imaging and recognition engines. His other expertise includes 3D animations and modelling. He is based in Singapore and speaks English and Mandarin.
 
 

Sanjit Sinha

Sanjit Sinha heads the Hardware Research Group at IDC India. Based in Delhi, Sanjit manages the business and operations of two critical groups, Computing Products Research and Peripherals Research Group which falls under the Hardware Research Group.
Prior to joining IDC, he was heading the Industrial Market Research for South India at AC Nielsen ORG MARG. Sanjit has also worked in sales during the initial days of his career.

Sanjit is an engineer from Bengal Engineering College and holds a MBA degree from IISWBM, Calcutta, with specialisation in Marketing.
