Andrew Namboka

Nokia Enterprise Solutions
Andrew Namboka is Chief Technologist for Nokia
Enterprise Solutions in Asia Pacific and based in the
company’s regional headquarters in Singapore. In his
role, Andrew leads a team of sales engineers to support
the technical needs of customers and channel partners
around the region. His portfolio spans fourteen
countries throughout Asia Pacific including China and
Japan.
Andrew brings with him more than 15 years of
experience in the data communications industry. He
started his career in the field as a lead engineer with
IBM UK and was responsible for building secure banking
infrastructure. He went on to join MCI WorldCom as a VPN/PKI
implementation specialist with geographical
responsibility in EMEA. In 2000, Andrew joined Nokia UK
as a European senior technical consultant before taking
on the role of technology manager and subsequently
engineering manager for EMEA.
Andrew is a frequent expert speaker at various
industry events as well as universities. He is closely
follows the standards development work of the Working
Groups of the Internet Engineering Task Force,
particularly security, mobile IP and IPv6. Andrew holds
an Engineering Honors Degree in mechanical engineering
with specialization in robotics and artificial
intelligence. He also completed post-graduate studies
investigating motion control algorithms, digital signal
processing and parallel processing technologies. |

Dean Ocampo, product marketing manager for Check
Point, specializes in Web security and has expertise in
Check Point’s Web security product lines.
Prior to joining Check Point, Ocampo held various
product marketing, product management and consulting roles
at high tech and Internet security companies including
BearingPoint Consulting, Hello Computers, Inc.,
Amplify.net, Inc., DigitalPersona, Inc. and ADC
Telecommunications.
Ocampo holds a BS in mechanical engineering and a BMus
in music performance from Northwestern University.

security and channels companies such as WatchGuard and
Satyam Infoway Ltd. Before joining Fortinet, Raman served
Country Manager for India at WatchGuard. He was
responsible for growing the Watchguard channel strategy in
India, and grew sales to more than half a million USD in
two years.
Prior to WatchGuard, Raman served as the product manager
for Internet and Network Security business for Satyam
InfoWay Ltd. where he struck alliances with security
vendors and supported the field with solution design &
product information.
Raman holds a Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science
from the PSG College of Technology and PGDBM ( Post
graduate Diploma in Business Management ) from IIM
Ahmedabad (96-98 batch) .

Saran Gopalakrishnan

Saran Gopalakrishnan is a senior product manager at
Websense, Inc., where his responsibilities include
worldwide planning and management of Websense EnterpriseŽ
and supporting other products within the Websense suite.
Gopalakrishnan has extensive experience in marketing,
strategic planning, consulting, and engineering for
technology companies. Before joining Websense,
Gopalakrishnan worked in product management for hi-tech
startup firms including CenterSpan Communications, a
developer of digital media delivery services.
Previously, Gopalakrishnan was a senior strategy
consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers assisting both
large and small clients in corporate and business strategy
development, product marketing, market and financial
analysis, and e-business strategy. Prior to that,
Gopalakrishnan's experience includes alliances and
partnership development for Hewlett Packard (Compaq) and
information technology consulting for Capgemini, among
other firms.
Gopalakrishnan holds an MBA in strategy and marketing from
Carnegie Mellon University and BS in Computer Science,
from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, India.

Vivian Tero

IDC Asia/Pacific
Vivian Tero is a Senior Analyst in the Asia/Pacific
Software group, based in Singapore. Ms Tero covers
research and consulting projects in System Infrastructure
Software for the Asia/Pacific Market (excluding Japan). In
this role, she manages the semi-annual Asia/Pacific
(excluding Japan) Infrastructure Management Software and
Security Software Tracker Programs and CIS.
Prior to joining IDC, Ms. Tero, spent 2 years doing
strategic and operational strategy as a Strategist with
Lante Corporation (now AvenueA/Razorfish) in San
Francisco. In this role, Ms Tero worked closely with
venture-backed and Fortune 1000 firms in developing and
implementing technology-enabled business solutions.
Prior to joining Lante, Ms Tero worked as a financial
analyst with the University of San Francisco, where she
co-managed the University of San Francisco Investment
Group portfolio. Miss Tero completed her MBA in Finance
and IT & Telecommunications Management from the
University of San Francisco, Certificate In Business
Administration from University of California, Berkeley,
and B.S. in Mathematics from the University of San Carlos.
She completed
her CFA Level I exam in 2002.
