India SecurityVision 2005 |
IDC research
shows that safety and security of information assets
would continue to be the key concern for CIOs and IT
heads of corporations worldwide through 2005. Principal
among them being:
- Increasing threat perception to corporate
information assets
- Top management demands for securing the vital
business assets of the organization
- Providing a smooth, secure, reliable and failsafe
networked environment to business executives,
suppliers and business partners
The combined effect of these concerns, environmental
factors and vendor marketing drives is expected to push
up the India Security Software market to over US$ 130
million by 2009*, according to latest IDC estimates.
According to IDC research, the future opportunities
in the India Security Software and Solutions Market lie
in new product/technology areas such as 'single sign-on'
devices, converged security applications, security
appliances and markets beyond the traditional banks and
telcos in 'B' and 'C' class cities.
IDC has designed the IDC SecurityVision 2005 seminar
to help CIOs specifically understand the key facets of
'total security' that they must address in order to
secure the vital information assets of their
organizations.
