Sanjit Sinha, Associate V.P., Research, 
IDC (India) Ltd.

Sanjit Sinha heads the research operations at IDC India. In his 12+ years of experience, Sanjit has spent 10+ years in market research, advisory and consulting practices across various business lines. In his 4-year stint at IDC India, he has spearheaded many new forays like establishing the IT channels research practice. Having spent a considerable amount of time in understanding the technology trends in enterprise computing, his views are well known amongst the IT community. He is quoted frequently in IT journals like Dataquest, Express Computer and Network Magazine to name a few.

Prior to joining IDC, Sanjit headed Industrial Market Research for South India at AC Nielsen-ORG MARG based out of Bangalore. Sanjit has also worked in Sales during the initial days of his career.

Sanjit is an engineer from Bengal Engineering College and holds an MBA degree from IISWBM, Kolkata, with specialisation in Marketing. 

Praveen Sengar
Sr. Manager – Software & Services Research, IDC (India) Limited 

Praveen Sengar heads the Software and Services Research practice at IDC India. He is responsible for driving all market analysis and research assignments for the India domestic Software and Services market and identifying new research and consulting opportunities. Praveen personally handles the Packaged Software market tracker for IDC in India. He has also conceptualised and spearheads research into new, emerging technology markets such as Security Solutions, Software as a Service (SaaS) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). He is also a regular speaker at IDC’s annual IT industry briefing session, Directions and at other major IDC conferences.

He has worked with organizations like Lowe Lintas in brand management and Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals in marketing. He graduated from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi with a Master’s degree in International Business (specializing in International Marketing).

Sudheer Parpatakam
Pre-Sales Application Quality Management, HP Software 

Sudheer Parpatakam has 10+ years of experience in Software Industry with more than 8 years of experience in Software Testing solutions. Started at Mercury US as a Support Engineer and later on moved to consulting for Mercury Performance Testing solutions LoadRunner and Performance Center. Later moved to Mercury India as a professional services consultant lead working on performance testing solutions as well as operations solutions of Mercury. After the HP acquisition of Mercury, moved to Pre-Sales in HP Software primarily focusing on the Application Quality Management products leading the pre-sales for south and west zones of India.

Rajesh Nayak,

Rajesh is a Solution Specialist with HP Software and has over twelve years of experience in the IT industry. At HP Software he is responsible for helping customers adopt emerging solutions such as Web Application Security, SOA, and Business Service Management to address the various needs and challenges faced by IT organizations today. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from INSEAD, France and a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from the University of Mysore.

Matin has 8+ years of experience in Software Industry with more than 8 years of experience in Software Testing solutions. Started as a Developer and later moved to presales for Application Lifecycle Management Solution. I started working for Mercury India as Technical Consultant working on Software Testing solutions. After HP’s acquisition of Mercury, focusing on the Application Quality Management products for west zones of India.

Abhinav Karnwal
Technical Marketing Manager, APAC, Trend Micro

Abhinav Karnwal is responsible for Technical Marketing for the Enterprise segment at Trend Micro. He works closely with the Sales, Marketing, Technical Services and Product Management teams to develop programs and works with customers to understand their security requirements, develop long-term strategies and implement solutions to achieve their business goals.

Previous to this, Abhinav worked as a Technical Consultant at Trend Micro, providing technical services to Enterprise & Government customers for Trend Micro’s Internet Content Security Solutions. Prior to Trend Micro he was part of the Secure Converged Networking division at Ramco Systems Ltd.

Abhinav holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology.

Vishak Raman,
Regional Manager, India & SAARC, Fortinet Inc.

Mr. Vishak Raman, Regional Manager for India & SAARC of Fortinet, Inc., comes to the company with over 10 years' experience in sales, marketing and business development at security and channels companies such as WatchGuard, Satyam Infoway Ltd & HCL Technologies . Before joining Fortinet, Raman served Country Manager for India at WatchGuard. He was responsible for growing the Watchguard channel strategy in India, 

Prior to WatchGuard, Raman served as the product manager for Internet and Network Security business for Satyam InfoWay Ltd. where he struck alliances with security vendors and supported the field with solution design & product information. 

Raman holds a Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science from the PSG College of Technology and PGDBM (Post graduate Diploma in Business Management) from IIM Ahmedabad (96-98 batch)
