Sanjit Sinha
Associate Vice President, Research, IDC (India) Ltd.

Sanjit Sinha heads the research operations at IDC India. In his 12+ years of experience, Sanjit has spent 10+ years in market research, advisory and consulting practices across various business lines. In his 4-year stint at IDC India, he has spearheaded many new forays like establishing the IT channels research practice. Having spent a considerable amount of time in understanding the technology trends in enterprise computing, his views are well known amongst the IT community. He is quoted frequently in IT journals like Dataquest, Express Computer and Network Magazine to name a few.

Prior to joining IDC, Sanjit headed Industrial Market Research for South India at AC Nielsen-ORG MARG based out of Bangalore. Sanjit has also worked in Sales during the initial days of his career.

Sanjit is an engineer from Bengal Engineering College and holds an MBA degree from IISWBM, Kolkata, with specialisation in Marketing. 

Ramesh G, 
Sr. Product Manager – Windows Vista

Ramesh G is the Sr. Product Manager for Windows Vista in India. He was responsible for the very successful launch of Windows Vista to businesses in India and now drives the purchase and adoption of Windows Vista across the country. Prior to his current role Ramesh headed the corporate Technical Sales team for Microsoft in India.

Ramesh has been with Microsoft for 6 years and has over 13 years of IT industry Sales & Marketing experience including setting up new businesses, launching products and incubating and coaching high-performance teams. He has an MBA in Marketing from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute (VJTI) in Mumbai. Prior to joining Microsoft Ramesh ran his own startup and worked with the HCL Group.

Bobby Davasia 
Product Technology Specialist, Microsoft India

Bobby Davasia is the Product Technology Specialist specializing in Management Technologies for Microsoft in India. He is responsible for pre-sales for Microsoft Management servers across India

He is a regular speaker at Microsoft Technical events. With a BTech from Cochin University, he has over 10 years of experience in the IT industry

Vishal Khare, Head – Channel Sales
Citrix, India Subcontinent

Vishal Khare is heading Sales Operations for Channel Business for India Subcontinent Citrix Systems, the world’s leader in providing products, services and solutions in area of application delivery with 2007 revenues of around $1.4+ billion, and approximately 3500+ employees worldwide. 

In the current role, Vishal Khare is responsible for spearheading the sales strategy for Citrix’s channel business for Indian Subcontinent. In this dual role, Vishal is also responsible for laying down the strategies for market development initiatives for Citrix in Indian market. 

Vishal commenced his career in sales at Bangalore, developing channels and handling enterprise accounts for PowerTel Boca. Post PowerTel’s acquisition by Citrix, Vishal moved on to become the Channel Sales Manager and in India South and then to Mumbai. Over a period of last 7+ years, Vishal has held various positions in sales including RM West, and have played and active role in helping Citrix to reach to current level in India. 

During his 7+ year stint with Citrix, Vishal has been 6 times rewarded with highest sales award in Citrix called President Club Award. 

Vishal is a management graduate from Bangalore & brings along with him over nine years of experience in the information technology industry. 

Srivalsan Ponnachath 
Director, Professional Services, Sun Microsystems India 

Srivalsan (Valsan) has been instrumental in the aggressive growth of Sun’s Professions Services business in India. He has over 20 years of industry experience (12 years in USA), which spans across Strategy Consulting, Sales Management and Program Management. Valsan also had an entrepreneurial stint with 2 internet start-ups.

Valsan is a computer science graduate with MBA from University of Nebraska.

Seemant Chaudhry
National SI Manager, Citrix Systems India (P) Ltd.

Seemant Chaudhry is working in the capacity of National SI Manager for Citrix Systems in India . He has got an experience of more than 17 years in the IT industry and has worked in almost all aspects of the Industry. He carries with him a varied experience from all the fields of IT ie Hardware, CAD/ CAM ,Software Solutions, ISP services, Data Warehousing & BI . In his last 4 years with Citrix , he has been instrumental in establishing the Enterprise business segment for the company and has also developed a strong mindshare with System Integrators for Citrix technology.

Prior to joining Citrix, he has worked in various capacities with organizations like OMC, HCL HP, IBM India ,Tata ISP, & SAS. During his professional journey he has been extensively involved in designing & execution of lot of large Government & Corporate IT strategies and projects. 

Seemant is an electronics engineer from BIT and holds an MBA degree from CRIM , with specialisation in Marketing.
